Markleeville to Alpine Lake and back

Great...solo ride from Markleeville to Alpine Lake and back. Although did run into Greg T and Cindy K training for the Death Ride so that was nice. I've never seen this much snow during the first week of June. Simply spectacular, gorgeous day!!

S. Lake - Luther - Woodfords - Kingsbury

Start of Kingsbury Grade climb...

Really enjoyed Saturday’s ride from S. Lake, up Luther Pass, passed Woodfords into Nevada and then north and eventually west up and over Kingsbury grade back to S. Lake.  Put it on your list.    Although full disclosure:  It was my bad ride for the year in that I pretty much bonked going up Kingsbury and had to stop four times to make it up.  If I was anything like Lenny…I would have slung that damn Scott off the cliff that day.
